3D Hoops had a very successful season in 2014 and 2015. Our teams competed in tournaments throughout the Carolinas and qualified for AAU Nationals as well as USBA State/National Tournaments. AAU is an important way for kids to compete against elite talent across the country. However, it is how 3D Hoops plans to manage our Club Basketball Program that is different from most programs. The core focus of our Club Basketball Program will be developing the fundamental skills sets of those players participating on our teams. We will accomplish this by offering organized practices that all players must attend regularly to be able to participate in our tournament games. Our number one focus is to help players improve their game rather than simply trying to win games. We want to win but more importantly we want players to grow in their skills sets so that they will have greater long term success.
Last year 3D Hoops established programs with our middle school age groups, as we began to build our program from the ground up. Players that make one of our teams can begin to learn the 3D Hoops offensive and defensive principles and “grow up” in the program in future high school years. Our program will also place a heavy emphasis on helping all players improve their place on the depth chart on their respective school teams. We will hold competitive tryouts to find the best talent in the midlands area. If you are an aspiring basketball player that truly loves playing the game at the highest level, our program may be for you. Our teams will compete in several local and regional tournaments.
